Last Saturday when I shot a video of Andy Percy in Rawcliffe, little did I know I would be mentioned in dispatches in the Hull Daily Mail. The Mail did a piece on Andy's blog and the reporter looked at Martine Martin's blog and my own. Although they cannot spell my name correctly, at least I got some publicity out of it. In the article in the newspaper there is also a quote from they have taken from my blog and in that they have spelt my name correctly. Unfortunately that quote is not on the online version. Click here to read the story.

Au revoir, but not goodbye
Martine Martin said she will not be blogging until after May 3, and I will say exactly the same. I will post some video blogs, but apart from that I will be concentrating on the election campaign.
This is my week. Monday: Canvassing in Willerby. Tuesday: Canvassing in Cottingham South. Wednesday: Canvassing in Kirk Ella. Thursday: Canvassing in Cottingham North. Friday: Canvassing in Dale Ward. The weekend? Leafleting all over the constituency. As you can see I am very busy. I will be back to normal blogging after the election.

On the election trail
Sorry I haven't blogged for a while. I was out every night last week canvassing and this weekend I have been out leafleting. I had a good day yesterday. We were out and about in the East Yorkshire countryside. To hear more about it, just click on Andy Percy's face and you will hear more.

Good to be back.
I have had a very good break and thanks for the comments. Welshcakes; thank you for telling me i have a lovely accent, and Delicolor - you should be American with spelling like that - I am from the North-East of England, but I can't understand most geordies! Thanks everyone though. I recorded this one on Good Friday as you will see.

Those of you who are technically minded may advise me on this one, however I have managed to video blog, but only with the help of the good people at YouTube. I could not find any other way of doing it. But, here it is, my first video blog. It is just over a minute long and it has taken me over 4 hours work to get it to you. Things will become easier I guess.
