She may have done it her way, but now it seems Hazel Blears is regretting some of her actions. I am sure this has nothing to do with the mood of her local party in Salford who has the power to deselect her.

you're so right about hazel blears andrew - does she honestly expect anyone to believe her 'regret' nonsense? the only reason she regrets what she did is that it didn't work and now she faces the end of her political career. i've been blogging about this today too at http://fsnreportersblog.com/
Thanks for the comment, Olly. I thought she was false when she was choked with emotion, waving a cheque on television, however, today I think she was genuine. The enormity of the situation she finds herself in has dawned on her. This time next year, she could easily be out of the Commons for good, with no chance of a cushy number in the Lords.
The motive for regret in her is always suspect.
